At Jr Innovators Summer Camp, we take the safety and well-being of our campers seriously. Our camp facilities are equipped with the latest safety measures and protocols, and our experienced and trained staff are always on hand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Whether it’s through our rigorous screening process for counsellors or our ongoing health and safety protocols, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our campers to learn, grow, and have fun.
Our camp counsellors at Jr Innovators are carefully selected and highly qualified, with police background checks, first aid training, and previous experience working with children. Your child’s well-being is our top priority, and we ensure that our counsellors are equipped to provide a safe and enjoyable summer camp experience.
At our camp, we typically maintain a student-to-lead counsellor ratio of 6:1, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and support throughout their experience. Our groups are composed of mixed ages, which helps promote camaraderie, teamwork, and learning from one another.
In cases where it’s beneficial to split campers by age, we will certainly do so to ensure an age-appropriate and enjoyable experience for everyone. We understand the importance of creating a comfortable and engaging environment for all campers, regardless of their age.
Additionally, we have a fantastic team of teenage volunteers who assist our lead counsellors in providing support and guidance to the campers, especially the younger ones. These volunteers are an invaluable part of our camp community and contribute to creating a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.
At Junior Innovators Summer Camp, the health and safety of our campers is our top priority.
If your child requires medication during the day, please make arrangements with the onsite manager to meet at an appropriate time and show photo I.D. prior to administering your child’s medication. All medications should be taken before or after camp hours, unless prior arrangements have been made.
For children who require puffers, insulin, or epi-pens, these items should be kept on the child at all times during the day. Epi-pens should be worn in a fanny pack for easy access in case of emergency. Our staff members are trained in first aid assistance for emergency delivery of epi-pens.
Thank you for helping us ensure the health and safety of all campers at Junior Innovators Summer Camp.
